Why this blog?

With less than a month until the big day when we'll decide the future of the family in California and set a precedent for the rest of the country and the world, I wanted to do something that would have some kind of impact. I've started this blog to provide a forum for those who want to express their feelings about supporting Proposition 8 and why this is an important measure to protect our future.

For those who have not heard of Proposition 8, it is a proposed amendment to the California constitution that seeks to overturn the decision by 4 activist supreme-court judges who made same-gender marriage legal in California earlier this year. Proposition 8 will ensure that traditional marriage is the only marriage that is recognized by the state of California. We will vote on this proposition in November during the general election. For those who are not registered to vote, I encourage you to register quickly. The deadline for registration is October 20th.
